Maura Thatcher bred four mares at Pony Lane Farm this past year. In late February, amateur jumper Disney delivered the first filly of the year named Disney Princess (Arizona ODF x Verdi). Arizona ODF, by Spy Coast Farm’s Amaretto D’Arco out of Athena, is currently competing in the jumpers with Maggie Jayne. Dolce Vita, a fierce veteran of the junior/amateur owner jumpers, is due to deliver a foal in early April by Spy Coast Farm’s Capital Colnardo.

Two additional foals are expected in June, out of mares Valeska and Jewel. Valeska is by Vigo d’ Asouilles and previously competed in the jumpers with Charlie Jayne. She is also the mother of Vermont ODF, who is currently competing in the amateur jumpers with Kelsey Cruciotti. Valeska is expected to deliver a foal in early June, bred to Pony Lane Farm’s own Grand Prix stallion Dulf Van Den Bisshop. Jewel previously competed in the amateur and professional hunter divisions before producing 3 foals prior to this one. Her current foal is fathered by Standing Ovation, the same sire as her oldest offspring who is developing nicely.
In 2020, 3 foals were born at Pony Lane Farm: Uhlan, a colt by Carrico out Jewel; Uma, a filly by Chilly R Z out of Valeska; and Ubetcha, a colt by Standing Ovation out of Like I Said.
